So your surprise trip was to Cliveden - how lovely! We used to live close by and visited the gardens regularly, and some friends got married there (very posh wedding).
Glad your week in the UK went so well, and many thanks for the photos. Not a lot of interest yet from the cats for their new garden house, but will let you know if they ever start to use the darn thing!

@twin , I had a great time, @louisbosco I will continue to add travel photos. Right now I'm in the boring town of Rocky Mount, NC. @Madame Buttonfly , yes Cliveden was great. My friends said to dress smart, so I wore my smartest Iron Hearts. Lunch started out in the bar with appetizers, then moved into the dining room. Really a nice place including the gardens. I looked up the cat house, your cats may think, a warm house or a cat house? A feral cat may think, hmmm a safe house. Not sure. Keep me posted.

@Megatron1505 , your not jacking up the thread. I would come there and join. Lombardi's has a sister place in Charlotte, which is good, Nothing like Peter Lugers though which is way at the other end of the spectrum.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. It's a Brooklyn based steakhouse. Very high end, and very good. Probably the best of any steakhouses. Credit cards, they only take their own, or cash or debit card.

I have been a bit negligent updating here. I spent Christmas with friends in Norfolk, VA., great city, spent the 26th evening @ Gershwin's, Great bar Restaurant, total Art Deco décor. Spent New Years Eve in Ashville, NC. at the Grove Park Inn, Vue 1913. Great meal, and New Years Eve celebration. Currently I'm in Allentown, PA. city of my birth, here until the 24th. Next stop, Outside Chicago, Il. starting on the 26th, to Feb 2nd. Then on the 4th Feb, Jersey City, NJ, for a week, and then jumping around NYC areas for the next month.
