@68degreesorless I love them. My wife that's pretty fed up with all my jeans always says she loves these for some reason. I think it's cause they look great when dressing up or down, without a belt, thanks to the cinchback.

I am also a big fan of this brand; after IH, this is the brand I own the most of. The Alamo is awesome, the fabric is what makes it and I like the boxy fit. I will say the length can be inconsistent but if you get one which isn’t too long then its gold.

The Fargo Rider jacket is also great, the blanket lining on it is really nice. The version I have now actually has the same lining as the Freenote RJ1 which is interesting because it’s less blanket like and more flannel like. I had an older version in the wrong size and colour but it had the brown blanket lining and mmmm, it was noice.

I recently got this and wanted to share. I have had the Fargo from Indigofera a few times in the past but it never sticks because I always felt it was too long and the pockets are too low. I have the rider version with the lining and I wear it like a chore coat so it works great.

However, Indigofera just released this cropped version of the Fargo and I literally could not contain my excitement. It‘s awesome for anyone looking for their wrangler style jackets but in a shorter version. So good!

Peace all, have any of you fine individuals any experience in washing one of their blankets? I figure there might be someone here who picked up the IH one at some point in time and might be able to shed some tips and/or tricks.

If you’re going to wash it yourself, this is the safest way I’ve found for wool (especially indigo-dyed)

way better off just getting the dry cleaning if it’s convenient

Below is something I looked up a while back when I first bought one of the Indigofera blankets

                                    Water
                                    • Cold water only — never warm or hot

                                    Detergent
                                    • Wool-specific detergent only
(Eucalan, Soak, Woolite Delicates — not regular Woolite)

                                    Washing method
                                    1. Fill a tub with cold water and add detergent
                                    2. Gently submerge the blanket
                                    3. Let it soak for about 10 minutes
                                    4. Very light swishing only — no agitation
                                    5. Drain, then refill with cold water to rinse
                                    6. Press water out gently — never wring

Expect some indigo bleed on the first wash.

Drying (this is where most people ruin wool)
                                    • Lay flat on thick towels
                                    • Roll towel + blanket to absorb excess water
                                    • Lay flat again to dry
                                    • No hanging
                                    • No dryer
                                    • Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight

Slow, gentle, and boring is the goal here. Anything involving heat or agitation is how wool gets permanently damaged.
