        @Gavin666 as every run and denim is different, measurements will vary from release to release. We suggest time and again to trust the measurements and not to go off of tag size alone.

          @goosehd I know but 11.2 is a tiny thigh for a 32”.

              @Gavin666 not quite apples to apples comparing 21 to 25oz. The 25oz will lose a bit from .5-.75" in the thigh making it pretty close to the same. When you figure each pair will be slightly different(measurements). You can order the size you need and tell them in the order notes the thigh(or any other measurements) you need and they'll try to get you what you require. Alowing you to cancel if they cannot accommodate. For an item like the 21oz that isn't selling out immediately I'd ask before buying. 👍

                  No problem. Was just surprised how small the thigh is for a 32” waist. The last 555 32” 21oz had a 12” thigh and the 777 11.8”. Was hoping to get a larger opening for the winter and boots.

                      @TwoHearted313 yes, I have 777 so wanted a wider leg opening but the thigh is way too small compared to the same size 777

                        I may be spoiled or softened by wearing only 14 Oz. versions of the 666 in the last few years, but how much stretch is there in the 21 Oz. denim?

                        Just got my size 35 from IH Germany and it is realy snug and now I have to make up my mind if I size up or if I keep them and trust in "the stretch". Size 35 is my normal and comfortable size in the 14 Oz.

                              @tody The difference is around 1 cm. That should stretch. I guess I'm just not used to the heavier fabric anymore.

                                  If you like them to fit slimmer, then this is spot on. I prefer my 666s to be just a little looser, so I size up. I do have one pair that’s a size down in 25 oz denim, but those only get soaked twice a year. My nether regions can only tolerate that about twice a year.

                                    @Cole They look great to me. Not baggy but not tight. This is my preference.

                                    the 21 oz will stretch at least an inch in waist (maybe more if you get them wet and apply pressure).

                                    It's just preference as to how close you want to ride that line.

                                    I wear my jeans in (all) professional settings, so I like them to be form fitting and not baggy so I'll risk the tighter side.

                                    I bought a sized-up pair of the 666s and my first pair 634s with the new releases and I'm hoping one will work for bloated / comfy days lol.

                                    Also depends if you are tucking in shirts too.

                                      I just learned all this the hard way. I have a pair of 888-21 in a larger size but I lost weight so they waist and seat is too big, and a pair of 666-14 also sized up in waist but everything else is great. The 666-21 came in having sized down to accurate waist, but the entire seat/crotch area is just smashing me 🫠 sucks because the waist is spot on... I wonder if a size up soaked would accommodate the tight parts while keeping the waist accurate, or if the cut just ain't for my body.
