I agree that with these jackets if it is really windy you might benefit from a throat cinch/latch.
I have a mariner heavy and it does have one but it still leaves a tiny gap just above the zip so it even with it isn't windproof for ones neck.
Haven't tried on the N1 either so I wonder how well the latch/cinch seals the neck area.Simple hack however is to just use some sort of merino buff or snood and voila. But I only need it if it's really windy anyway.

@SourPower I really like the lining on yours. The one I used to use have had a red southwestern motif liner. It was super nice. But I always liked the blue/ white ones the best.

@SourPower I do love the pattern of the RJ1. Really love the Franklin and Poe leather version. Think it lends itself well to a leather jacket.

Nice! I keep on looking at it in my closet. It’s still a bit too cold if we get a warm day soon, I’m going to wear it again. It’s really nice, especially after I washed it, tightened it up a bit.
