Yes, it was like a giant had grabbed the building and was giving is a gentle shake…..

I felt it, but it wasn't really enough to fully wake me from slumber. Very large quake though, at least around its epicenter far north of here in inland Iwate. M6.6 and 5 strong on Japan Meteorological Agency seismic intensity scale.

In other news, dress light. Will be a bit of a scorcher today. 30c.
