Really wished I could choose my own hours at work… Would've worked 4am to 8.30 then today and gone to the flee market afterwise  😠

@harley dave take a look at the BMW R1200R as an alternative to the GS. If you're not going offroad it has several advantages:

      • They're cheaper.

      • On-road handling is actually better.

      • And you don't have to carry enormous aluminium canisters on the back, so you look like you're off for a quick jaunt to Mongolia when you're actually going to Sainsbury's…

      I'm biased because I've got one. 😃

The Indian Scout looks like an alternative to a Sportster, and the Guzzi V7 is a Bonneville competitor. But that makes your life even more complicated…

Took the dog for a walk wearing my Vibergs this morning (me, not him) and now I'm facing the age old problem of the dirty white Vibram sole.

I went out to dinner last night, ate way too much, drank way too much, and now I'm feeling like crap.

                .

a light scrub with a washing up spong./scourer and a tiny amount of cream cleasner does the job .

ooh it puts me in a right pickle if my white soled boots get dirty …...we dont like dirty

                  Speaking of coffee…

I’ve been getting up at 5 in the morning in a real hurry so I have taken to drinking a large cup of coffee as fast as I can on an empty stomach (I find it impossible to eat at 5 in the morning…). This (combined with the stress of my classes) was giving me such a terrible stomachache and feeling of sickness with my regular organic coffee, so I had to switch to organic shade grown which was much easier on my stomach, but than even that became hard to drink in the morning. And it even got so bad that one day I even felt like I was going to vomit all the way to school. So the next day I made mint tea instead and stopped drinking coffee completely for about a week. Now I’m having some coffee with a meal on Saturday and Sunday and it’s just fine, in fact, it’s amazing, but I am not sure if I should try having any coffee at 5 again or not… I’m worried that if I do I might ruin coffee forever for myself. This is my first world problem for today… 😃

                      Running out of strawberry jelly/jello @harley dave, that's bordering on third-world problems right there! :o :o :o

This reminds me of earlier today when I stopped for beer on the way home and accidentally bought the wrong kind. I had to go back in and get the correct kind from the cooler and get the difference refunded from the cashier. What a pain.

Denver has traffic issues. This is figuring into my calculus for finding a place to live. My patience for traffic is minimal.

People from the NW always ask me how I can bear living in LA. I tell them that living near work makes all the difference. I don't care if it's more expensive.

Good luck with the hunt, mcl.

I had planned to wear my Samurai 710OG for work today, so last night I gave them a machine wash to get out the last bit of shrink and left them on a radiator to dry over night. During the night the dog has pulled them off the radiator and left them on the floor meaning that they are still damp  :o

Now I have to select another pair of premium denim to wear from my wardrobe instead of the pair I had planned to wear, this is just ridiculous and easily wasted 4 minutes of my time this morning  😠
