OK, it is something we have had in the pipeline for a while, but we have a couple of other projects that we need to finish first before we can focus any Dev time on this.

Just to add to the previous comments…

I only use Tapatalk for the IH forum. I don’t have any problems with it, but I would certainly ditch it were there another alternative. IH app sounds like a worthwhile venture.

Not saying that we can't do this, but what's wrong with the search function?

Search function works well enough.  But there are occasions where I can't remember the exact number of a piece so it doesn't do a whole lot of good.  At that point I could go to the main site and browse through the extinct items list until I found the one I was looking for but that feels a bit cumbersome.

If I know I am looking for the number of a UHF having the UHF threads separate would probably be faster to click through a few item threads than go the extinct item route.  Plus it just feels more organized and the type A part of me likes that.

I also only use Tapatalk for the IH forum, but rarely post via Tapatalk because, like others have said, its awful.

We definitely like the idea, but it will require some thought.

In the shop, an item can be in multiple categories, in the forum not.  For instance, a denim western shirt can be in Western Shirts and also Denim and Chambray Shirts.  So we would not be able to have a 1:1 match between the shop and the forum…

I find the search function works rather poorly on Tapatalk, which is how I access the forum 99% of the time. When I use the website on any computer the search function works great. This might be a good enough reason for reorganizing categories, though I’m not too sure how many people use Tapatalk.

My experience as well. The search function in tapatalk doesn't work for me at all

Got it.  Might be best to scrap the style of shirt and just go with fabric type sorting.  So all UHF's together, all denim, all chambray, etc.

Agreed. I don't understand why so many people use this TapaTalk in the first place, I mean every mobile browser can save and manage your forum passwords if one's that lazy and it's far more comfortable to surf without any app and being dependent on it.

I thought a dedicated app for the forum would be a great idea at one point in time.  I have done a complete U-Turn and can think of a million and one ways I would rather piss my money away than doing that.

I don’t know know how this would work out cost wise or even if it’s possible, but it seems like the golden middle road to me.

Using the desktop site in Safari is a drag. Terrible GUI for smart phones. Tapatalk is great when it works, but is too often plagued by bugs and glitches.

I think you need to taper the shirts more from shoulder/chest to waist. I’d love to see that more generally but I think certainly for a line aimed at a younger crowd. As much as I love my IH shirts they can look a little frumpy at the waist (I tend to wear them to work on Fridays where tucking them in fixes that). All the materials and construction are obviously spot on though and I think your range of cuts for jeans covers all the bases.

You have that issue even with the westerns?  I can agree that certain workshirts can be boxier but Westerns have always been a great cut for me.

I agree about the westerns, just about perfect. If you need a shirt with a ton of taper, Flathead is [emoji108][emoji108][emoji108][emoji108]

The sweet spot (for me…) is between IH and FH. I don't want "a ton of tapper" but some would be nice.

Now, to be fair, the IH shirts vary enough from model to model that most people can find shirts that fit well, albeit not always in the model the want.

I would like to see a minor few shirts with lady shapes…

Maddy is dabbling now, and a men's small workshirt fits around the chesticle area, but billows in the waist. Also the sleeves are too long, and the overall length is too much.

Is that what the "women's sizes" are? Or, are those just smaller scaled versions of the regular patterns?

*I can see why this would be unappealing to the IHJP think tank, as the ladies in Japan who wear IH like the baggy look, and also being that the average cup size in Eastern Asia hovers around an A +/-
