I had a similar problem when I dyed a shirt red. A second attempt made for some interesting color variations and looked a lot better overall. Be interesting to see how this works out.

I did a DIY overdye on my 777 blk with Simplicol „Samt Schwarz“ from the local drugstore. It came out really great. The colour is very even (looks better than on the picture).
Unfortunately the leather patch became very hard. Oiling it didn‘t help. I’m afraid it’s gonna break. Any tips or ideas?
