@BenBWH I have the same WESN microblade and really like it
-
@Anesthetist it’s a lovely little bit of kit isn’t it! I did want the next size up but not worth the hassle here in uk
-
@BenBWH honestly it can take care of almost all of my needs. I like a larger knife but tbh dont need it.

My trusty $7 Milwaukee box cutter. I love this thing! I lost it for a couple days and was legitimately bummed.

@Anesthetist very true! When I first saw it for real I was like “oh ok that’s just gonna be like a letter opener” Now I use it for all sorts of stuff and it’s ace!

I also EDC a pocket knife and appreciate your approach. While I have fancy kitchen knives, my pocket knives aren't for surgery. My very Cajun grandfather was a sailor and worked with his hands. When he passed, I was given a box with all his pocket knives. Every single one of them had broken blades he had ground down and resharpened to keep using. They were tools in the most literal sense. Case and Buck knives from Walmart were the fanciest thing he owned and those were presents. He still beat the shit out of them. I try to remember they're tools and I expect to lose mine at some point though my current knife has made it three years so far. I just need to be able to open and close it with one hand.

I got this 5 months ago and has been in my pocket every day since. Great knife. I still miss my old knife when I think about it, but this has been a wonderful replacement. I like how it’s starting to pick up some character along the way.
