The Engineers have a different last and sole. Way more rugged/stiff and roomy, also slightly taller shaft. The Christy soles on the Short Shifts make the boots super comfy. I am sure if I wore the Engineers more they would break in but compared to the short shifts there is almost no break in required.

Thanks Rafa. Yeah, bums me out to let these go… Held on to them hoping they'd work, cause I love the HH, but they are just too big for me. As to what's next, well since Viberg is not doing MTO anymore, I am thinking of trying a pair of White's semi-dress in black HH. I prefer Viberg, but I've gotta get the size and fit right.

Also, there are some guys on the Styleforum's Viberg thread looking to get numbers for an MTO Brown wax flesh, commando sole, no toe cap, heal pull tab service boot. Absolutely freakin killer boots (IMO). But I have a pair very similar. They are leaning toward 2045 last over 110. Personally I think the 110 is a tad sloppy as it's wider heal to toe.. Anyway, anyone wanting a peep here y'all go

Not meant to challenge just genuinely curious as I had another project I wanted them to do once my finances improved in a few months. -
It's been about a month or so. There was an announcement over on Styleforum by Guy (member name "LAGuy", I think?) that got cross posted here. I think they'll still do group orders, if you can find 3-4 people interested in the same build.
