As a fellow 40+ IH devotee, I can reassure you that the rise on the 777 cut isn't as low as I was expecting.  Cut is golden IMO - that extra bit of taper makes all the difference.

We'll have other cuts coming out, but in the first instance we only have enough denim complete for a run of 400….

@GingerMagician likewise, and you're right, I really do need to try a pair on, but I fear that while your refined physical build will suit most things, my thick afro-bum needs the carefully tailored confinement offered by the 555's and bb's, or indeed these 666's.

After loving the fit on the 666II in a 33, I grabbed a pair of these on Ebay that are also 33's, figuring that'd they stretch just a tad and be perfect, but whooooeee- they are tight!  Too small for me really.  It's a shame- they are beautiful.

Hey guys, i've got an IH-666 UHR. Pretty Heavy pair of Denim! Do you guys have any experiences how long it will approx take until it's broken in. It's my first pair of Denim which is over 14oz and it seems kind of hard and fits tight so i have to keep the first button open.
By the way i soaked it ones in cold water, so it shrinked a bit. Will the waist stretch back? Seems like it will be a hard piece of work! Thanks for your help!

My experience of the UHR is that it doesn't take that long to break in (compared with the XHS), maybe a couple of weeks hard wear. They'll certainly stretch out after wear but if you've only cold soaked them there will be more shrinkage with a hot wash.

Like Neph says, with some perseverance they will start to soften and stretch but be wary that there may still still be some shrinkage left in them so it'll be worth wearing them for as long as possible before giving them another wash/soak.
