Got given this and learned a French custom, that it is bad luck to gift a knife so I have to buy it for a penny

I was also brought up with the premise if a knife in your possession cuts you, thats how you know its yours and you should never part with it.  (Also why i have SO many knives)

With the recent flooding in my cellar, I was totally helpless that night where I did not have any electricity at my home. That time I felt the need to have a Pocket flash light that could be a boon in such situations. I got this EDC flashlight from Fenis, the Fenix PD36R, rechargeable via any standard USB C port. Though made in China, it has a very good quality feel to it. From now on, this will stay in my left pocket at all times.

I've always got to have a flashlight on me. I've had a Maglite Mini for years, and just recently upgraded to one of the newer LED ones. I've got a Maglite XL50 in my bag and have a Solitaire on my keychain. Probably use those more often than my pocket knife.

Dude I love it. No group messages, no photos, no bullshit. Plus, I can use it as a WiFi hotspot should I need that.
