finally got round to wearing this shirt. odd thing is that the right sleeve seems wider and slightly longer than the left, but apart from that looks good and feels like i am wearing some sort of high end bandage gauze

Went back in the studio with this since I wasn't happy with my last attempted.

I never go full-on "booty face" (Clean shaven). I trimmed it all the way down to 1/16" last week Monday

Picked one of these up second hand a few weeks back.  Seriously a beautiful fabric.  Can't believe I waited over three years before getting this.

The texture and depth of the fabric is insanely good and goes so well with the fading/saturation properties of indigo.

I got the black one at Kanreki. Really nice texture to the fabric.

The blue is beautiful.

I too fell in love with the black rather quickly and just snagged the blue - I had to size up since my size was sold out, but this fabric looks better a bit relaxed than pulling IMHO. I’ll post up pics when it arrives…

It is an underrated shirt. I've been wearing mine at least once every week since fall started

Ok, my sized up XXXL arrived, and as expected, it was quite big, so I have it a warm wash and machine dry and it shrunk up a good amount.

Pre-Wash:

Post wash and a Dry:

The wash did fade out the color a good bit, which I’m a bit bummed about, but I guess it was inevitable haha [emoji38]

Comparison wise, I prefer the fabric, cut, and weight of the IHSH-172 better, but the 96 is a lovely addition to the closet and a truly unique take on an indigo shirt.

Last pic looks great. Good buy. Personally I love the way indigo falls out of IH shirts with washing… its a different thing depending on the shirt but they all look better for a wear and a wash imho.

Funnily enough, the Mrs said the same the other week and I thought, hmmmm, I actually agree. Gives it far more character!

Totally agree, that's how I roll….wear it, get it dirty, wash and repeat.....but I really wish this stuff held onto the color a bit better.......
