Love the UES waffles, 2nd to only IH.

-
@kojimastreets that hoodie is treating me very well, thank you! Not only is it a beast, but that blue is incredible. Hope all is well with you.
After the hoodie you sold me I went down the UES blue rabbit hole…..indigo hoodie, indigo amundson flannel, indigo heavy flannel, tricotine shirt, tricotine n-1….need the indigo t-shirt and if they only made indigo underwear I would be set!
Lol

@jimcord whats your favourite out of those UES pieces? I have the heavy flannel its so soft and versatile. But its not very heavy/too warm i didnt think. I was thinking about getting other UES stuff but my IH fever has hit hard....
-
….. Amundson is pretty nice, their extra heavy flannels as thick or thicker than IH I feel. Warm as well tricotine shirt is actually warm due to thickness The hoodie is very thick, substantial and no branding other than tine ues patch on sleeve- i like that. The n-1 just arrived. It just is built differently and a lighter weight and it just can’t compare to the substantial of the IH n-1. There’s no question that the IH one is bigger heavier and warmer and better constructed, but you could probably wear the UES one much more often in California than you could the IH.
The one thing across all of these that is universal is just the unique UES indigo blue color…… it is just such a terrific blue I don’t believe anyone has anything quite like it -
I don’t think I really answered your question so I would say the Amundson flannel and the tricotine shirt are two items that are distinctly theirs. Both have a unique texture and both have that beautiful blue.
-
@jimcord I’m still heartbroken the hoodie fit too snug on me. Glad it’s found a good home!
You’re right though, their shade of indigo is really something else!
-
@jimcord awesome and thanks for comparing and for your thoughts, i will check the hoodie out!
-
Keep me posted, always cool to hear others thoughts about their and our purchases!
-
I picked up a hoodie and had to wash it first as indigo was bleeding everywhere unlike anything I have seen! Wore it with black for a few days, washed again and now bleeding like a normal worn piece. Already fading and super warm. Awesome piece
-
It’s almost too much isn’t it! Love the weight and fit of their hoodies.
-
Have you guys tried the Purcara sweatshirt? I thought i read somewhere its like the aspero cotton IH uses
-
No, but am curious as well….
Here is probably the most interesting and unique UES item i own….
After washing, it softens nicely . It has all of the features of a traditional blazer: double buttons, slit back, button cuffs.

-
@kojimastreets i too am interested in the 409!
-
@cyclops Yes, its really nice - soft and warm. A little different in design to my other sweatshirts too.
-
@cyclops they no longer use Aspero cotton, the new use a blend of uganda and zimbabwe cottons .
-
@jimcord ah bugger. After buying some IH flannels with aspero im now on the hunt for some. And UES isnt as pricey as others such a wonderlooper so its easier to justify
-
@jimcord can you maybe write a little comparisson between the tricotine and the amundsen? I know one is flanell and the other not but how do they drape, fade and maybe differences in the cut?
-
Their #7 indigo T-shirt has a beautifully rich navy blue too. Really nicely done just like the Tricotine.
-
The tricotine shirt I received is really nice. It has a lovely shade of indigo blue. It reminds me a lot of the 368 double cloth western shirt in terms of fit and overall garment weight. I had one of the UES acron pocket flannels are well and would defiantly buy another.
