@Giles It's good to see the lugged sole catching on. Just an FYI, they are very bad for picking up small stones between the lugs. They will scratch floors very quickly!!!

Bracket values are the true feet lenght. Pull on socks, put your feet on paper, pull the pen around, measure lenght and compare.

I wanted to get the Coach Rambler, but I had not sized it correctly and hence got the Java waxed flesh. Here is a snap of me taking the boots for a walk.

Really love the Dublin burned oak leather on these Viberg service boots. Was looking for a non-cap toe in this color for a while and so far this leather does not disappoint.

@the246guy What size did you get? I just got a pair of the Coach Ramblers. While I love the leather and the potential it has the Java Waxed Flesh looks so much better after you beat them up.

^ I'm 10.5 for the Truman's. I have been a long time Red Wing boots Iron Ranger, Moc Toe user and normally with Truman's you size half a size up from the Red Wing size.
I actually wanted to go for the Coach Rambler, but I ordered Size 10 and when they arrived here at the local shop, I found it to be too snug. Hence I got the Java Waxed Flesh in size 10.5 and it fits me perfectly.

@the246guy Hmm, I went with my same iron ranger size. However, I might add that I have just sized down in my Red Wings previously I was wearing them way too big. I'm still probably a half size large in the iron rangers but I like them like that so these should work for me. I want those cognac shrunken bison derbies, however, and I heard you need to size up on those so I'll go with a 9.
I learned something though. And, I dodged a bullet if I wore an 8 in Red Wings (which I can probably fit) my Trumans would have been too snug. Go figure.

@GardenState You need to size the Truman's boots based on the last with which they are made. I guess the Java Waxed flesh and the Coach Rambler are mostly Last 79, while the cognag shrunken bison derbies are last 55. You might want to consider this when sizing.

@the246guy got a pretty good fit on them. I’d advise against wearing them with shorts. People look at you weird

@GardenState That looks absolutely marvelous. Is that the Coach Rambler or the Shrunken Bison? I like the fact that how distinctive that leather is. Unlike the Red Wing boots, each one of them from Truman seems to be unique.
I'm tempted to get another pair of Truman boots. Having lost all 3 of my Red Wing shoes (had them for years) to the recent flooding here in Germany, I'm on the fence if I should need another pair of boots. I usually rotate between two pairs of boots in a week. I'm now just left with the Truman's.

That is the Coach Rambler. Oddly enough I want to get a pair of those Cognac Shrunken Bison Derbies they have available. They look amazing.
I would most certainly say you need another pair of something. Truman be an ideal contender; Red Wing is still great however. I bought a pair of those Classic Chelseas and they are just like sneakers as far as comfort goes.
Truman has so many amazing leather options. That Java Waxed Flesh is amazing looking with some patina on it.
