My one (big) complaint is that the pull loops both broke, so I had to cut them off.  It (to me) is an indication that the leather is not up to par….

I had exactly the same issue, pull loops broke within an hour of ownership, they went straight back for a refund!

Awesome @D97x7. Just curious what conditioner you use on your boots? Love the way your packers have darkened and taken on almost a "waxy" finish

1930's Boss - nothing yet, I have some Wesco Silicon but am undecided as weather to use it or not, might order some kilties to try it on first.
Wild Ones - just one good coat of Venetian Cream (must get some more as I've run out, anyone know where I can buy it in Europe?).
Smokejumpers - brushed occasionally and washed in the sink once, as they were seriously covered in dust.
Packers - one coat of the Wesco Bee Oil, was going to use some Obanauf LP but don't really want to darken them.
Service Boots - a couple of coats of the Viberg leather protector that they came with, which I personally think is the same as the Obanauf LP.
