one of my real good friends is actually Slash's guitar tech and he's 100% an awesome dude too. I was just seriously taken aback by somebody like Duff knowing who my band was and actually being so outgoing about it.
You guys are pretty well known though Nate, I knew who you guys are before I signed up here….just didn't wanna come across as all "hey you're that dude from Converge", as I'm clearly far too cool for that

In all seriousness though there are worlds of difference between the small amount of popularity my band had been lucky enough to receive and what somebody like Duff has lived so it just surprised me that somebody like that was even aware of us.

Yeh, I get that. Like you say I think it really helps that Duff clearly fucking loves music, as does Slash.
A friend of mine (massive Kiss fan) told me that Slash once tried out to be the guitar player in Kiss but was rejected for being too young. Anyone know if that was true?

Great list Red, I saw Iron Maiden open for UFO on the Killers tour with Paul Di'Anno and every time they played
here after that until Power Slave.
I was lucky enough to meet and chat with Clive Burr on the Killers tour, I was very saddened by his passing.nice Blackheart, seeing Maiden with Di'anno and chatting with Burr must have been something special!!!

On another note, it looks like the only gig I'll be going to this year is Ozric Tentacles 30th anniversary one, last time I saw them was over 20 years ago

Yeah Red, Clive was very nice, all the guys in Maiden are and very easy to talk to.
Riff mentioned Paul Stanley, he came in the hospital to pick up some films from me and we chatted for about
half an hour. Told him I saw KISS on the Hotter Than Hell tour and by a chain of events in my life his band
was the reason I had this job…He wanted to hear every detail then gave me a huge autograph and thanked
me for being a life long fan, I in return thanked him for my job! -

might not be for everyone, but if i still can get a ticket i might be having a memorable concert/show on friday and saturday…Wu-Tang Clan,
Modd DeepRedman, Common and etc. are coming to Biel, Switzerlandok, Redman is replacing Mobb Deep…not sure i'd need a 2 day ticket then! Wu Tang and Mac Miller on Friday and Redman and Common on Saturday!
