      Yeah…there is a big difference in the cost when shipping to Europe with tracking and without. Keep in mind that COVID-19 has had a major impact on the delivery of parcels, especially via Canada Post, for example. I'm fairly certain the parcel will arrive, it's just going to take a while.

          Posted in the WTB thread with the IHSH-265-PUR. Got a reply from @Richardson-k. He immediately wanted to move the conversation into email, but I requested we stay on the forum. Then, when I requested product pictures, he sent 2 photos. One was a work shirt version of the flannel and one was a western 😂. I called him out for the obvious scam attempt but no response

              Definitely not recommend to buy from him. Bought something from him 4 weeks ago. Asked three times for a tracking number a week after I paid. Took him 12 days to answer that he'll provide that number when he's back home from the dentist. That's 10 days ago and he's just not answering anymore. Not here, not via email/paypal. Not sure if hes a fraudster or not but a communication like that is just shit and not recommended. And a parcel from greece to germany normally takes a week. We'll see.

                @chbronsonx Maybe it'll peace your mind, I bought a pair of jeans from him and I just got them yesterday.
                It took 2 weeks in transit somehow but they came eventually

                  @hajduk had shipped a vest I bought from him on June 11. Tracking stopped on July 7, it's now August 28, and no vest has appeared. I've asked him (monthly) to follow up and find out what's happening with it. He does not respond.

                    Hajduk is a long time member on here who has I believe proven reliable on many transactions. I’d be shocked if he deliberately were anything but completely honest, forthright, and accountable in a transaction. I hope this is just a misunderstanding and that he is OK, and that you get your merchandise.

                      That was my understanding, so I bought from him. However, the described facts, in this case, remain and he is entirely unresponsive. I also hope that he is okay, but would like some accountability from him; I know that IH is not responsible for my satisfaction in this transaction.

                        I also know that he's been unwell recently. He suddenly stop communicating with me last year when trying to organise my leg of a Jacket Tour, and Giles informed me that he'd been quite badly ill.

                        Things got sorted in the end though, and I'm sure there's no malicious intent here, as frustrating as it might be.

                            maybe someone here has a better / more direct line of communication to check in on his well-being and then see about the package?
                            I'm assuming you tried working through the shipping provider already? Was this international?

                                The tracking stopped at, "The shipment being processed for import," on July 7, but it said that many times, interspersed with, "The shipment is forwarded from transit country." It's sent from Norway (Posten Norge(Bring) to Canada, but I can't find any record on Canada Post.

                                  @Shelby999 Try tracking it at parcelsapp.com. They are pretty good at finding the current carrier, which may not necessarily be Canada Post.

                                    @tody Good suggestion! Canada post does not always record an incoming shipment until they take physical possession of the item. This may be one of those instances where it is stuck in the system between points of handover.

                                      @tody parcelsapp.com found it, and CP is the carrier in Canada, but tracking there stops on July 7, too. Thanks for the tip: it gave me better English, but no current information.

                                        @Shelby999 So…Canada Post has no record of the incoming shipment, but you have record that it has left the Norway postal service?

                                        It sounds like it’s sitting in a warehouse to be processed by Canada Customs. I’ve had packages spend an eternity waiting to be admitted into the system. One of the things you can do, is to use the Canada Post tracking service and see if they will launch an inquiry into the status of the package. You may have to go into a physical location of a Canada Post Office (not an Canada Post outlet) to launch that inquiry.

                                          Sometimes international shipments have sat waiting for information from the shipper. It could be worth calling the shipper that currently has possession to see if they need something from him. In one particular case, they needed input on the contents, but they permitted me to fill out the form since I was importing it.

                                          Turns out fountain pen ink was considered a potentially hazardous liquid...

                                            Okay, thanks for your input. Yes, CP has no anticipation of the shipment, but parcelsapp.com says they will be the carrier. I don't know if it has left Norway. All of these things have been dealt with by the seller, in my experience: I have previously been informed by a shipper that it was the seller's responsibility.
                                            However, in this case, I will "launch an enquiry" at a CP office.
