SUGAR CANE & BUZZ RICKSON FALL COLLECTION

A large shipment from Sugar Cane and Buzz Rickson has arrived to all stores this week. We finally have a new run of the black/black 1947 jean plus 1966 and 1947 indigo jeans and 8oz denim western shirts.

From Buzz Rickson we have fresh runs of flatlock seam crewneck sweaters in five colors, William Gibson wide leg chinos and black chambray shirts, 1960's jacket liners, 1951 field trousers, and watch caps in three colors.

3SIXTEEN NEP DENIM CHORE COATS & COTTON TWILL FLANNELS

Chore coats from 3sixteen have landed at all stores. These are made of a short staple “nep” cotton fiber Japanese denim and finished with 3sixteen branded YKK hardware and bar tacked pockets.

We also have 3sixteen’s Black Cotton Twill crosscut flannel from their new winter collection. These are produced of a 100% cotton medium-weight flannel which is slack weave woven for extra pattern depth and are finished with enamel coated metal fisheye button

STUDIO D'ARTISAN 45TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION JEANS

We have two very special limited edition jeans this week for Studio D'Artisan's 45th anniversary.
First we have the TRIPLE SELVEDGE jeans, made in limited numbers for their 45th anniversary. They’ve modified their vintage denim looms to produce an unusually narrow fabric, measuring only 20cm to 38cm wide as opposed to the normal 80cm width of selvedge denim. This enables them to make a jean with three selvedge IDs running down the inside of each leg; triple the selvedge to triple your pleasure. To produce this jean they also reproduced the original yarn used to produce the first SDA jean ever made forty-five years ago, the “D-01”. These are produced in SDA’s classic straight leg fit and are exclusive to Self Edge. Truly a one of a kind jean.

We also have the HINODE AWA NATURAL INDIGO jeans, also a limited model made for their anniversary collection. These are produced of a 15oz slub yarn cotton with a natural indigo warp and akane vegetable dyed weft. The natural indigo warp yarns were dipped 30 times with long oxidation periods, an anomaly for natural indigo as normally natural indigo yarns aren’t dipped in the dye bath for this long of a period with this made dips. This technique mixed with the akane vegetable dyed weft yarns creates one truly unique jean. These are produced in SDA’s classic straight leg fit.

SELF EDGE X MERZ B. SCHWANEN WIDE LEG GARMENT-DYED CHINOS

Self Edge x Merz B. Schwanen wide leg chinos are here.

We've come together with the crew from Merz B. Schwanen to bring you a set of wide leg garment-dyed pleated chinos. These have a newly developed wide leg fit, are lightly pleated, are made out of a 9.2oz organic cotton twill textile that's garment-dyed in two colors, and finished with a special Self Edge x Merz B. Schwanen vintage loom woven label and corozo nut fiber buttons.

NEW BONCOURA JEANS!

This week we have three new Boncoura jean models, one of which was designed and produced exclusively for our stores.

The Self Edge exclusive jean is a new high-rise wide leg model made of their signature 15oz pure indigo dyed selvedge denim. We also have wide leg work pants made of a lightweight indigo denim and the Z model jean which is their straight tapered fit made of their 15oz denim.

FINE CREEK HAMPTON HORSEHIDE TYPE III JACKET

Black Shinki horsehide Type III jackets from Fine Creek Leathers are finally here.

This is Fine Creek’s take on the classic Type III jacket made of a true black Shinki horsehide. This comes in as a classic fit with just a hair of length added to the body. Fine Creek makes some of the most beautiful horsehide jackets we've seen. Using a vegetable tanned Japanese horsehide, which ages in a fairly fast manner, they cut and sew these jackets in their own studio in Tokyo. The quality of stitching is as good as it gets for a leather jacket, and we've not seen many jackets age as well as these do. Depending on the panel they'll use a different type of stitch thread and thread count to achieve puckering in certain areas for added character.

STRIKE GOLD WINTER FLANNELS, CHORE COATS, & LOOPWHEELED T-SHIRTS

Super soft alpaca and wool blend flannels from Strike Gold have landed. These are made with a low tension weave then brushed on the inside and outside and are made exclusively for Self Edge without chin straps.

We also have Strike Gold's first chore coat. These are made of a 15oz Strike Gold original selvedge indigo denim with a slub cotton yarn warp and medium staple weft. Some impressive sewing details and hardware throughout this piece.

Loopwheeled t-shirts are also back and now available in more colors. These are some of the nicest loopwheeled tees coming out of Japan, available at all shops in five colors.

MEGA IRON HEART WINTER DELIVERY

We've just received the largest Iron Heart delivery of the year.

We have Ultra-Heavy flannel shirts in all new patterns and colors including a wild "chalk stripe" which looks like a denim Wabash from a few feet away.

Iron Heart have done a new production run of their amazing N-1 Deck jackets, now in brown and black with an updated black alpaca lining.

We also have the 634 straight leg and 633 straight tapered back in every type of indigo, overdyed, and black denim in every weight including their flagship 21oz.

Lastly we have whipcord cargo pants and 21oz Superblack denim waist bags. Everything is now at all stores.
