moving into the new crib atm. so I don't have that much time to answer right away...so as soon as I'm done with getting in the things needed, I'm taking another look into this topic, cuz good coffe is what starts your day...so thanks a ton again! 😉

btw. how long does it take to make a cup or two with the V60 or aeropress?
simple, fast but brilliant tasting coffee is what I'm after 🙂

I'm keen! Give me a few weeks for things to settle down during the week and fo' sure 🙂

          Finn,
v60 ~5 minutes from start to end. About 2 minutes of active pouring/work
aeropress ~1.5 minutes from start to end. About 1 minute of active work

Aeropress is essential for a travelers kit and if you plan on creating one cup at a time. However  IF you're brewing for multiple parties, a v60 with a decanter or a chemex shall do the job.

Not sure of you like the look of the decanter but the v60 fits inside of it similar to a chemex

I decant into http://prima-coffee.com/hario/range-server#.UiHM92TVdfI (as you know ;)).

Finn in terms of speed for making coffee, I usually make breakfast whilst making my first pot. I alternate between the two and have breakfast made just as the coffee's ready to serve.

demonito, If you're really struggling I can get a decanter aka Range Server for you. I'd be buying it retail from a local store and sending to you, no different to you buying online yourself, except you'll likely get it cheaper if not going via AustPost/EMS.

Ratio looks a little low on the water side. 10mg:150ml or so I'd say.

Much obliged, Urb, just ordered…  Was doing the microwave thing for my non-cold press (aeropress) coffees, that's not ideal for many reasons.
