      ^You are correct, it's a bit thin, and it lacks the curvature required for a proper coffee mug. They're pretty to look at tho (mine sits on my desk). Quote from page 3;

      @Snowy:

      So I picked up a Real McCoy's mug, it's nice/good, but it's not The Real McCoy in this case. Comparing against a Four Barrel (SF Coffee ~3 blocks from SelfEdge - Kiya's Fav 😉 ) the construction is totally different. The Four Barrel mug is the style of mug I got in most good coffee shops state-side, even some good diners.

        I have no problems with the Real McCoy mug besides the price. I like the lip on it. It's not as nice as my Made in Maine diner style mugs but I don't really mind.

            I finally remembered where I got the Carville made in Maine mugs.

            http://www.kitterytradingpost.com/product.php/pid/7/sid/118/tid/466/prodid/53645

            The Real McCoys weighs about 250g while the Carville Diner mugs weight 350g. The Carvilles are significantly beefier but I feel like the wall is quite similar in thickness.

                      Turns out we have a roaster nearby that's pretty good.  I really like this one up in Duluth, but that's several hours away.  Going to visit these folks and grab this for the AeroPress:

                      Of course, I'm as happy to ship/exchange coffees as I am beer with any interested parties.

                                Arrived on Thursday. Roasted 4 days ago and had my first cup of this morning. Man oh man, it's like a great hummer. That good.

                                Floral true to a Panama Geisha. Honey wash is a new/rare one for me, that has just taken it somewhere special.

                                    Option C: not enjoying giving hummers as much as drinking this coffee 😃
