    jump lunges
    jump squats
    burpees
    push ups

was pretty intense tbh.! loved it though…

50 pounds is impressive; nice work.  How much do you plan to lose?

Just completed LVL II Skogg test  2.5 min of snatches with each arm was tougher then I anticipated. My arms are pretty dead right now.

Just finished my 1st LVL 3 intervals with 16kg bell. Doug I just figured out what you were talking about regarding intervals.

How long did it take some of you folks to receive your gear from the goruck site?

like a week? pretty sure i've always got a ship notice after a few days
not some sort of a preorder situation? I think they've done that in the past with short run colors and stuff.

Just wondering. No special colors, just standard black on both the gr2 and brick bag. Thanks jaco

                          06/19/2013 - received tracking number

                          06/26/2013 - arrival

Excited to receive the new gear but its  two days too late for me to use on my next adventure. Disappointed… I know they had received a ton of orders for the new color ways on their products but not sure how my order fell through the cracks

Shocked usually get my stuff in one week from order date without expedited shipping. They ship from West coast and I live in the east coast.

I was a little surprised they're shipping from Washington myself. I guess I'll have to wait it out and plan an outing to test the new goods. I know I'll be impressed with its quality….  I'm just frustrated with the length of time it will take to get to my doorstep

product is outstanding i have a GR1 & GR2 and both are the best bags I own. I have owned some top notch bags Arc'Teryx, Gregory, Osprey etc… And unless I'm thru hiking a goruck is coming with me.

Yeah your review on your gr1 helped me pull the trigger on my gr2. It's going to be my carry-on bag, hiking,  and work bag. Depending on the location of the event, I hope to be joining your boys in one of the Goruck challenges

Glad I could be of assistance. Z is bringing my GR2 to Peru before he decided which bag to order. You can't go wrong with either one. I sound like such a fanboy.

I'm looking forward to April 2014.

Not sure how ready I will be for the events coming up in September 2013 and October 2013 as I've had unexpected events come-up.  I never say never & figure I'll know better what i'm doing late August 2013.

closely related, please keep grinding it out D666, motivating isn't even the word for what you are.  Let me know if you need someone to get you any endorsement deals as you are a poster child for a number of heart healthy diets & healthy choices in general.

I was actually thinking the same thing the other day.  I have been working on a project that has been dominating my spare time until just a couple days ago.  I fell out of my workout regimen, but, fortunately, continued with the Paleo diet.  I went for a hike this morning (to get back in the swing of things), and there's no doubt I took a step back from where I was a month or so ago.  I was expecting worse, though.  I don't think it will take me too long to get back to where I was. There are two lessons to be learned here:  1.)  Do everything I can not to fall out of the routine again, and 2.)  Diet is crucial.  I could have taken a major step back if I had not at least maintained my dietary discipline.

And a big thanks to d666 and zhivago for keeping the motivation rolling.
