I have a similar pair with the exact welting on those. They are bulletproof.

These grey Nubuck 574s have been going for years. I like them so much I added another pair to my Xmas list.

If it wasn't for the salt on them from the recent snow…they still look pretty decent too. Not as clean as my 996s, but not too bad.
