Thanks Adam! [mention]Appfaff [/mention] They stay on great. Super snug and pretty much no stretch… there’s so little of it that it’s not a problem. I have a pair that are beat to hell and I still have a hard time getting them off! [emoji1787]

So, I live on an island, so sometimes easy footwear is required, but I always try to keep it classy.

I’ve always wanted the Alden suede penny loafers, but always directed those funds towards boots and jeans..

I’ve had my eyes on these Allen Edmonds Sea Island loafers for like 2 years, and they finally landed in my size on the clearance rack of my local store.

Perfect for me: water repellent suede - double layer leather sole, lamb skin lined interior, heavy waxed moccasin stitching.

I really like them, and they should fit well after a little stretch

I always envy the Japanese and how they wear the 50s “college attire” so well, so these will be my “cropped and cuffed” jeans and slacks smart shoes.

Thanks @steelworker - AE is hit or miss on if I like their silhouettes and combo of materials (I feel they do it 100% right 10% of the time, and 60% right the other 90% lol) but I dig these and the color… might even throw some pennies in if I am feeling a bit wild

Which island do you live on? One of the keys?

I guess not technically an island like the keys, but our stretch of land is surrounded by Gulf to the south and bay to the north - if I have to take a bridge to get on our off, I figure it’s an island haha
