So I'm sitting at Urb's Friday night and I notice my wedding band is missing. Fuck! Panic mode. I look like an absolute weirdo searching the floors with a flashlight in the middle of a party. To my dismay no ring. I call my wife I tell her what has happened. She handles the news very well. Our 11 year anniversary is October 12th so I even felt worse. Who loses their ring right before an anniversary? We have had a rocky patch the last few years and this felt like the last nail in the coffin. I get home from Mikes Sunday night no luck. Search my office Monday no luck. 10 min ago I'm having a conversation with JSJ and I randomly tell him I lost my wedding band and his response. Oh shit!!! You didn't I have it. When I opened your package it fell out of the box. So right now my ring is safe in Oklahoma maybe it just needed a shirt vacation.

Yeah, I was really flattered. Like wow, I think he's really into me. Actually, I pulled the shirts out of the box, and heard a clink on the floor, looked down and saw the ring, and was like, hmmm…I wonder if Jeff knows there's a wedding ring in the box. I put it on my bathroom counter shelf where I put my watch and wedding ring, and thought man, I need to charge my phone and call him to let him know I've got it. Right then, my door bell rang and my buddy that was coming over for dinner showed up. I completely forgot about the ring until this morning when Jeff mentioned the weight loss and his ring slipping off. My ring has been doing the same thing, and I was like dude, I totally know where it is, it slipped off in the box you sent me. I'll ship it today.

Too funny…this spring sold a jacket to an IH forum member and could not find my wallet as I headed out the door with the boxed up jacket. Looked all over the house for like a half hour. Finally I sit down in the kitchen and notice the jacket box on the counter. Opened up the box and my wallet was in the jacket pocket!

Landy had to go in for MOT and service last week. I dropped it off at 08:30, at 12:00, I started to get more and more het up voicemail's being left on my phone. I was in no particular rush to listen to the "Sir, I'm terribly sorry but the car has failed the MOT on every single criteria possible, it will be approx £10K to fix, would you like us to go ahead?" call, so I ignored them. Eventually they got through to me. They had dropped something through the canvas roof and would have to make a new one "At our expense of course sir, and the car sailed through the MOT, so no more to pay". Nice new canvas….

my wife and i have been trying to teach the baby some basic sign language. you know, since babies can't talk. just basic stuff like the sign for milk or more. it's been a few months and today she literally looked at me and signed milk. i asked her "do you want milk?" and then she started bouncing and signing for milk again. so i gave her a bottle. that is absolutely mind-blowing to me.

I am constantly amazed by the language skills of the none english speakers in this community, if I were to converse with any of the German dudes in their native tongue we would end up loudly discussing the price of a bus ticket to town hall (about the extent of my German). Well done gents.
