No doubt about it. I have the blue and it is a FANTASTIC watch for the money.

        It is lovely.

I dig this one that just popped up in my feed though I’d prefer not to have the He escape valve.

@JDelage after wearing this one for a few days, it’s kind of growing on me. I’m just not used to white dials I guess and my brain needed time to adjust. It’s different that’s for sure. I’d love to try on a Rolex Explorer II with the white dial at some point to see how that looks and feels. Even that Rolex model, which was never considered one of their more highly sought after models, is hard to get these days.

Seikos 2nd diver, 6215-7000. Only produced for one year, 1967. I thought the text of the M65 label was very suitable also for the watch.

Grand Seiko SBGR305 from 2017. First one where they ditched Seiko at the top of the dial and Grand Seiko was made a brand of its own. Titanium case and 9S68 automatic movement.

Yeah that’s a beauty. Simplicity wins the day. A simple “automatic” is great. I don’t need the watch to flex about its Hi Beat or Spring Drive. I can simply watch the seconds hand if I feel I need to know that for some reason. Knowing whether or not it requires a manual wind is justifiable intel to display.

Not in the flesh. I have the old SBGW005 though which has the same bracelet.

@Molle haha I admire it but indeed it’s a bit much for me.

I used to be a big chronograph guy but now I’m a diver guy for mechanical watches even though I just wear a fitness watch. What timing I don’t do on my phone can usually be done with a dive bezel and I like the ruggedness and not having to worry about taking a dip and things like that.
