Someone asked what I was wearing last night (maybe Rueben or Scott, I can't remember) and I don't think I got around to answering.  Anyway, here it is.  I don't think they were too popular, but I like it for a weekend watch.

Speaking of indigo, in the last few days I've seen a number of pics of the not-yet-released-yet-already-sold-out GS SLGA007 and it's lovely! Look it up on IG:

(With this said, I'm actually not a fan of the new hour markers & hands, esp. for dress models.)

Tudor have just unveiled the Pelagos FXD Marine Nationale, which was designed for combat divers.

As is common for military watches, it has fixed bars, but these are machined into the case.

I like it, though I wish they'd used the Master Chronometer movement from the Black Bay ceramic.

Monochrome and Hodinkee have hands on-articles.

Anyone have any experience with Stowa watches?
I’ve been on the fence for a while now, looking at the Aviator classic 40 and the Aviator classic sport (43mm and 20atm as opposed to 5atm)…

I guess if the sport came in 40mm it was an easy decision.

If Panerai is your thing, dont let me dissuade you but I’ve had two PAMs (000 & 308) and they were both pretty big and kinda boring to look at. I LOVED them both at first but after a couple months dials just looked so empty & the lug to lug makes wearing slim cuffed shirts a pain.

I think PAM resale isnt what it used to be either which makes me wonder how well they sell these days. Just my experience/opinion of course for what it’s worth.

Took delivery of this today. It took 8 months for it to arrive. Was initially meant as a 50th birthday gift. It's stunning.

Moser makes such beautiful things and they still have a good sense of humor about it. Love their watches and would love to own one some day.

Congratulations on yours and a good choice. That green fumé is stunning!

I had a radiomir a couple years back and sold it cause the wire lugs werent the sturdiest and the movement ran fast.  Up until the movement issue i loved wearing it.  Then i had to have the most Accurate TM and fancy and got a datejust.  I like it still but it started running slow.  So fuck it im goin with the designs that catch my eye and tbh i love the crown guard and the curves of the 50s case.  I almost wish it didnt have the date but shrug i dont think theyre gonna make my perfect watch and i gotta just accept it lol.

@JDelage that Moser is gorgeous, and looks like it was worth the extended wait.

Thanks. Yes, I feel very fortunate. Coincidentally, this week's going to be heavy on watches for me…

Apparently the wait for the Streamliner is a lot longer now.

Great score @JDelage , it's so beautiful and retains a sporty aesthetic. One of the best-looking bracelets in the biz too.

                            Think it, be it.

What a beautiful timepiece @JDelage.  I think it will be a future classic.  You can see some of the the much spoken about integrated Genta designs language reinterpreted in the streamliner series.  The bracelet design is stunning and blends so well into the case, well done Moser!

Have been trying to view one of these for a while now but no luck.  Harrods in London appear to be the only UK dealer and whenever I have gone in to the store they do not have anything from the streamliner collection to show.  Guessing all these watches just come in and straight out onto a customers wrist.

My IronHeart Pinion had been acting a bit off (tight winding, tight setting), so I sent it back to Piers at Pinion for some warranty work. I gotta say, Piers was an A+ pro at getting my watch fixed quickly and effectively and told me what was happening every step of the way. While my watch was in England, he also subbed out the black hand set for a polished set so I can see it easier at work. It looks fantastic and I’m very happy to have it back on my wrist!

Thanks Giles, honestly the only painful part of the process was the $220 it cost to ship it…
