@weftyarn Awesome! I have the IHJ-127-BLK on today and during my walk to work I did think "would be nice if this had a hood". Definitely a suggestion to be re-run!

The hood really makes the difference for me. Also compliments the general silhouette of the jacket even when you don’t have it on.
Takes away from using it as a liner, but I don’t see how anyone would use this beast as a liner anyways.

Only thing that the IHJ-08 misses is the vertical chest pockets

And I have to say I like the curvy quilt much better than the diamond on the newer versions

Of the fabric - Don't think so, it's just a change in the quilting sewing.....

Let me be third to chime in for a rerun! The zipper on mine is limping along, and the bottom is so shredded it’s hard to latch. But it is the best jacket ever

I’d love a hood and a draw string … I’ll probably still buy the new one though lol.

It may be my body shape and where it falls on my hips, but if it did come with a drawstring, I'd probably remove it

@Anesthetist still the best jacket, ever! I don’t reach for it as much as I would because the bottom of the zipper is close to failing.

@sabergirl Ann you may want to look into an alteration shop replacing the zipper. For under $50, it could renew the life of such a rare jacket.
