you say it matey…measurements do look similar to the 301S's, IIRC!...so I'll def get a pair of these!...34 should do the trick for me I think
so the denim for 2013 is already sorted, nice

Time for me to buy a measuring tape. Thigh might be a bit small for me in the 34 and the waist a bit big in the 36.

I'm assuming there's a good inch worth of stretch in the waist?

yap, should be the case after a few days/weeks of wear and I guess the thighs going to stretch 0.25" as well!…

Looking at the measurements again I'm not actually sure they'll fit my calves. My right calf runs between 16 and 16.5"

Giles, I was wondering...why the decision for an inch bigger waist? My tts is 29, and everything looks good to me but I'm wondering if I should just wait for a 28 produced because of the waist. Or will the rise make up for the bigger waist?

It was not a decision, it just happened.  It's annoying, but there is nothing I can do about it after the event.  Had I known this was going to happen, I'd have ordered some 28's too.  Vincent at TDV is taking 26, 27 and 28. I will probably take 26-28 next run as I think will will be great for ladies….

Best thing to do is measure a pair of jeans that you own that fit you well, the way we do:

Then compare with the measurements of the 555's in the sizing tables

Cool, I think the size 29 will work out perfectly for me actually. How much does the 21oz actually stretch? And finally, sorry for all the questions but Giles, do you personally like this cut? I remember reading you didn't like the 301s. I was just wondering since these two are fairly similar

It's not that I don't like either this cut or the 301, it, I'm actually quite concerned about whether I will be able to get into them for the product pics….I'm 55, I don't do skinny.....
