Hello all,It has been a long time. I hope all is well. Anyway, I thought I'd post some pictures of my new "project." Worn it every day since I've gotten it. The one day I didn't wear it, I set it out to "tan." Somehow it fell down on my gravel, got wet, then developed these nasty little marks in the leather. With wear, they faded slightly to the point where you cannot notice them. The only reason I mention this is that it changed my perspective on the jacket. If I had the nasty marks in the leather, why not wear it hard? Well, now it's blue from my jeans in places, black from working on things around the house, and I think there's even some ice cream from my kids. Okay, okay. That's from me, too.
You may be wondering about the jacket itself. You might have seen me in my campus jacket. I love that jacket. It's my first choice for "date night" jackets. It is, however, a tad short; it is also a little snug when buttoned. That's more of a me issue, of course. This is jacket is also a 44 but is much roomier. The published messurements have it a 25 inches p2p, but mine is 24 right on the dot. One of the other cool aspects is the "branding." No, I don't mean the cool little flourishes that Mister Freedom does in their store or when shipping their products, I mean the actual "brand" that was on the horse. On mine, you can see an 8 and a 6. If you've even been intrigued by MF's leathers before, I'd have to say this rivals the campus, perhaps even beats it. Let me know if you'd like to see more pictures in the future. Also, I have gotten this bad boy wet when cleaning up the markings I described above, but I have not but any Pecards on it yet. Trying to wait until it really needs it.

[mention]Wlemon [/mention] looks smashing …. I’ve had this jacket in the basket a few times almost pulled the trigger lol … Is it me or does your original fit pic the jacket looks more relaxed ? I guess it forms to body etc.

I've been very interested in it since it was announced, and I've gotta say I'd totally get one if it had side pockets. That's just a personal thing — I just can't get a jacket without em. Too fidgety of a person
That personal functional gripe aside, that thing looks so good it almost makes me a bit salty! I still sorta think about the campus, might eventually go that route — seeing your leather come along is rekindling that interest.

For some reason, the type 2 is the only style jacket I can wear without side pockets. The only issue with the campus jacket is that the pockets are not really functional.

Looks like they just announced some new 2022 Sportsman stuff — not particularly bowled over by anything other than the midnight denim Campus jacket. Been hoping they’ll release some Lot 64 in that fabric again, but no biggie as I’m in no need of new jeans.

Went to SELA to get my beloved IH633s repaired and try some IH 888s in 21oz but they didn't have any. Drove around the corner to check out Mister Freedom. Wow what an overwhelming shopping experience in the best way. Such a fun time in there. It felt like an americana museum where you can buy everything.
Bought some Lot.64s in 14oz indigo. Loving the high waist. Also got a white henley with green stitching. Super happy with my purchase, excited to keep shopping with them. The vibe is undeniable.
But still - can't wait to get my IH633s back. I've worn them everyday for 2 years and I miss them…

I've been waiting for them to issue something in the Midnight Denim again, so I'm very psyched for those Outlaws. Also dig the brown cords, could totally get down with a slimmer leg fit like that — I don't usually go too tapered these days, but for whatever reason these work in my mind. I just ordered some Paraboots and i'm thinking they'll pair up well.

I’m curious if anyone has had one of the teacore campus jackets long enough to have some fading? Really curious about its appearance.

@58panheadfan - how are the hand warmer pockets on the Mattock? They look like they're placed a bit high maybe?

They are indeed a bit on the higher side but I like it from optical angle

I’ve seen his Natural which looks amazing. I guess from the description I’m afraid it will age like a cheap bonded leather couch. Chips and cracks instead of fading like denim. But examples of other teacore jackets I can see on google images look fantastic.
