@AskAxel thanks man! Really appreciate it. Im between sizes for their 32 tag. so wasnt sure whether to go 31.5 or 32.6 etc..... with orslow and other pants they always have a bit of give, so i wasnt sure how much these have etc. So thanks for the feedback!

@cyclops Im not sure how the measurements differ between the wide and the slim cuts so bear that in mind, but if this helps I am a natural 33" waist and generally wear 32-33" in jeans. Samurai S3100VX I wear a 33, the latest Samurai 25oz I bought a 33" too. The Chinos I bought in a 32" and they fit almost perfectly after a little break in. Denimio places all of those at around the 82-84cm waist mark and I've found Denimio to be pretty reliable for samurai's measurements in my experience.

Let us know what you think of the chinos!

@cyclops the SJ42BP is the same material as the baker pants. The SJ42CP is a heavy chino pants. Assuming you are talking about the BP, there is a bit more give in these than the CP in my experience. I don’t think there is a SJ48BP, but there is a SJ48CP which is a wide version of the chino pants, so you guys may be talking about different fabrics - chino vs. back satin. Just wanted to chime in because the two fabrics do stretch a bit differently.

@samo thanks for the input. The one im thinking of is the SAMURAI JEANS Heavy Back Satin Trousers Olive SJ42BP. I saw them on "earthmarket" so was thinking about buying them. Might go with tag 32....but it sounds like most people like the quality of it...

@cyclops yeah those are the same fabric as the baker pants and they will give a bit in the waist.

It softens up a lot. I have one from last season and it's got 1 wash. I was surprised how much it's soften up with a wash and some wear. It's a nice lighter sweat shirt.

@cyclops Samurai sizing is interesting. I'm 36" in their s3000 zero denim and s3100 at 35" was too big. Check the specific cut. Generally 33-34" in IH too. Was lucky enough to visit Samurai jeans in Osaka. Amazing store and great service!

Maybe a bit, she definitely doesn’t get as much attention as she should. Too many hoodies in the rotation!IMG_0536.jpeg

I picked up a pair of the recent 25oz release. Would you guys recommend soaking to them first to get any more shrinkage out? Or just wear them. They’re unsanforized, one-wash.

Got my SJ42BP today. Its super comfy, drapes well and has nice hand feels. Though i must admit my sense of "heavy" is now a bit warped cause i have been wearing my UHR daily. Like the pants feel so light and not heavy/tough at all. Also the sizing is bigger than i was expecting, should have sized down cause there is also some stretch too. Overall its very nice would highly recommend
