The 25oz arrived this afternoon. Initial impressions are very great, the texture is unreal. They aren't as firm as I expected, probably on par with the IH UHR but the texture is beautiful. Definitely a pain to button up, the gold buttons aren't as tacky in person. I normally wear a 32" and i sized up to a 33 in these and it was definitely the smart move. I would not be able to button up a 32 haha
I'll get some wear in over the weekend but I think I'll hang these while I break in my UHR as I've not yet hit 50 wears on those.I'll keep my eyes on Iron Shop, they have good rates on shipping to Aus. Although I really don't need another pair...

Gave these a cold and hot soak to try to get all the shrinkage out of them. First thought love the fit n fabric! They do feel a little less hefty compared to my xhsib. Love the details throughout the jeans as well

For those of you that wanted but missed out on the heavyweight natural indigo and kakishibu dyed zip hoodie that released earlier this year, Self Edge just re-stocked them (S-XXL). From their email they said Samurai made a batch just for them, so I don't think others will be getting these and not sure if Samurai will bring this item back again.

@Nobunaga I’ve been waiting for this one, sized up to a large. Hoping it works out because this run looks slimmer than the size charts that are still up on other sites from last run.

@denami Same size as far as I can tell. I have one from each release.

@samo hmm, redcast and dant have large listed with a chest measure of 46.5” and 47.2”self edge for this run is listed 44.5”.

I find Self Edge to be an outlier on measurements. All I know is I have a size large from the original run and I bought a second from this run and they fit exactly the same. Could be I got lucky on that, I'm not sure.

@samo appreciate the feedback. My only other samurai piece is one of their flannels that is a medium and fits so this size chart threw me off.

Chest: 45”
Shoulder: 19.75” (straight across)
Length: 26.25 (from seam below hood to hem on the back) -

If you don't mind my asking, what are your vitals such that you went with the XXL over the XL?
I'm definitely leaning XL, but you don't necessarily seem that much larger than me.

@Watty 24 chest and 20 shoulder. I prefer my hoodies to be reasonably roomy

I should also add that I managed to find the last one on special at a different online store. Their posted measurements were smaller than SE latest run too
