So, mine arrived at my house in Philly (I will have to wait another 3 weeks until Xmas holiday to actually see it) but I got this little message from my mom:

"The pea coat is beautifully made like all iron heart stuff and its rather heavy in weight but i guess you know that"

"Problem" is a a strong word, but I have one that you could only buttoned on the right.

Perfect fit Joule.  May I ask what size you got along with your chest and height measurements?

Thanks for the comments…got a 'what the hell' when I asked my wife to snap the pic (and when I told her the price!)

Size large.  I'm 6'1",190lb, chest is 41-42", and jacket worn with tee and light weight denim shirt.

I don't yet an a IH shirt to state my "usual IH size"...but G and I pretty close to the same size so the large was his recommendation.

I'd say it's warmer by a bit, not tons, but definitely warmer for sure. One of the main reasons being that there is more coverage with the pea coat. Anyway, you can certainly find a reason justification for owning both, or so I keep telling myself anyway ;).
