Perfect fit Joule.  May I ask what size you got along with your chest and height measurements?

Thanks for the comments…got a 'what the hell' when I asked my wife to snap the pic (and when I told her the price!)

Size large.  I'm 6'1",190lb, chest is 41-42", and jacket worn with tee and light weight denim shirt.

I don't yet an a IH shirt to state my "usual IH size"...but G and I pretty close to the same size so the large was his recommendation.

I'd say it's warmer by a bit, not tons, but definitely warmer for sure. One of the main reasons being that there is more coverage with the pea coat. Anyway, you can certainly find a reason justification for owning both, or so I keep telling myself anyway ;).

Fill out the form, but use Melton Wool Pea Coat as the descriptor, just in case that Haraki changes the model number…..

Anybody else have problems with the buttons falling off on these? I noticed 1 loose one when I got it first and 3 are gone already, thankfully I saved them from getting lost, but now all the buttons except one are only barely hanging on. I'm not the best at sewing, otherwise I'd take them all off and start again.

I'd been taking it easy to avoid losing them on the street, but it's only a matter of time until I loose one.

Sounds like you need to get them all resewn. I wouldn't risk losing one of those nice buttons.

Yeah I had this same problem with a couple, although they're only slightly loose, none have fallen off. I think it's because the spacing between the button and the fabric is much less than the thickness of the fabric, so it's being pulled out every time you wear it

We did have one guy in UK who had similar problems, but to date, Haraki has had no issues  in Japan.

Please get them resewn and let us know what the cost was and we will credit you.

I have one that is pretty loose, but the others are holding strong!
