Really happy to introduce UES from Japan with their heavy selvedge flannels custom woven on shuttle looms in Okayama.
I have been talking to owner and designer Chuji Matsumoto for almost a year and helped him develop some larger sizes for the western customer. The fabrics are brushed on the inside making them warm and comfortable to wear. This brand has a zen like balance of excellent craftsmanship and timeless designs.Red/Navy Check Flannel Blue Check Flannel http://rivetandhide.com/brands/ues/ues-blue-check-selvedge-flannel.html

Presenting a new shirt from Real Japan Blues, sister company of The Flat Head.
This Shadow Diamond western shirt is 65% cotton and 35% rayon. The fabric is selvedge and, as always, custom made. It has slightly larger proportions than their usual shirts which could make it a deal breaker for some customers.http://rivetandhide.com/brands/rjb/real-japan-blues-diamond-ombrer-shirt.html We have also received these border socks from The Flat Head. Made of New Zealand merino wool.
In Red, Blue, or green. For shoe sizes 7-11http://rivetandhide.com/brands/the-flat-head/tfh-merino-wool-border-socks.html

might jump on those UES shirts, fabric looks great & the cut looks like it would really work for me. random but that RealJapanBlues shirt reminds me of the IHSH 18 fabric, kind of sort of . . . .

question: how tall is junior (whom i believe it is modelling most of your garments)? He is 175cm and 70 kg. He usually models a size 40 in the shirts

I was at Rivet and Hide yesterday, and the Indian Chief blanket is suitably awesome. Joe, you know you want it. The UES shirts are cool. I tried on a size 5, which is slightly snugger than an IH XXXL. It was a good fit, and as others have said it's roughly a workshirt with a Western cut. Danny said that UES could do a size 6 if there was need. And there's also a Flat Head shirt that will be mine…

I love the rjb houndstooth western. Pattern correct on yoke and pockets for that pattern….

It's the 7001 denim shirt, which comes up a bit bigger than other Flat Head styles. By far my favourite is the embroidered Chambray Western, but that's just a bit too small for me.
