The Flat Head's Frontier Spirit t-shirt is a true classic. Made in Japan of loopwheeled construction, it bears a screen-printed Native American motif in red and black, smaller on the front, larger on the back. The collar features The Flat Head’s signature stitching, two rows on the fabric of the collar itself, one outside, on the body of the T which makes it keep its shape perfectly.

With a nod to the MA-1, this reversible take on the classic bomber jacket from 3sixteen is something out of the ordinary. With olive green grosgrain in a fine herringbone on one side, the jacket can be flipped to reveal the nylon face in very faintly iridescent woodland camo. While the jacket features knitted cuffs, collar and waist either way round, the pockets on each face are different—vertical on the grosgrain side, slanted on the nylon. It’s a dress jacket and a field piece all in one.

Inspired by vintage barnstormer jackets, 3sixteen bring us their Hunting Jacket in both Black and Field Tan waxed canvas. They feature streamlined flap pockets with hidden buttons, the flap forming part of the unlined hand pockets above—very neat. Inside there’s another ingenious double pocket, one zipped and one open. Real horn buttons, a curved corduroy collar, corduroy cuff lining, and a 100% flannel cape half-lining finish the jacket.

The Khaki N1 Deck Jacket from Iron Heart has been restocked and already selling fast. Based on a US naval deck jacket it has been refined and perfected by Iron Heart. Lined throughout with long hair Alpaca, even in the hand warmer-pockets, windproof whipcord fabric and knitted storm cuffs, this is the such a first class winter jacket. Repeated this year in Khaki with the new indigo version coming soon.
For the cooler months, Pure Blue Japan offer this Heavyweight Knit Twill Indigo Sweatshirt. In 100% indigo cotton, it has a crew neck and raglan sleeves and, as you’d expect, the signature Shoai (indigo leaf) emblem on the side seam. The fabric is ever so slightly napped giving it a well worn look from the go.
The Indigo Check Sunbleached Work Shirt comes in 6 oz 100% cotton selvedge fabric with a bold yet tasteful check. While they describe it as “sun-bleached”, the sun is more Okayama than Arizona, so the indigo is lightly faded with plenty of life. The fit is slim, and there is one pocket over the heart.
PBJ’s Double Indigo Sunbleached Chambray Work Shirt also comes in a slim fit, here in 6 oz fabric with both indigo warp and indigo weft. The sunbleached effect, while still subtle, is more marked on this piece, which out of the box looks like you’ve worn it for a month crewing on a fishing boat in the Greek islands. Yia mas!

The Type II Trucker Jacket comes in a 12 oz selvedge denim. Unusually for a Type II it offers hand-warmer pockets and two internal storage pockets making it as practical as it is stylish. Perfect for braving wet and cold weather in style, without looking as if you’re off to the Himalayas.

Brand new from Iron Heart are the IH-555s-142bb jeans. Medium to high rise and super slim, they are made from 14 oz selvedge denim with both a black warp and a black weft. The warp is black sulphur rope dyed while the double twisted weft yarn is black sulphur dipped. The poly/cotton constructional stitching is black to match. Over time, the denim will fade to grey.
These jeans are sanforized and one-washed so you can expect little to no shrinkage, though the waist will stretch out approximately one inch as you wear them in.
Back in stock we have Iron Heart’s 21 oz denim in the super slim 555 cut. A perennial favourite, the 555-01 is a modern classic with an old-school feel. Perfect for the colder months ahead.

I have an XL Sky Valley also and is a beauty for sure! However I can't wear it with anything thicker than an IHTL-1501 or similar otherwise the forearms get too tight. Looks great with a tee though, especially in LA.

Iron Heart's classic N1 Deck Jacket has always existed in a class of its own with its all-through alpaca lining (including the hand warmer pockets), whipcord cotton outer and storm cuffs. We did not think it possible to improve on this until they delighted us all with the new indigo dyed version. A beautifully even tone to start, this will age with some definite élan.
In addition, the Khaki N1's were recently restocked.
We also see the return of the Heavy Moleskin CPO in the remarkably smooth and super sturdy cotton Moleskin. All the expected detailing and hardware are present including hand warmer pockets and oversized logo’ed copper snap fasteners. A rich, deep navy colourway makes this year’s iteration an absolutely spot on layering piece.
Iron Heart's final Ultra Heavy Flannel release for 2019 comes in a stunning blue tartan check. 12 oz of double brushed Aspero cotton goodness and a perfect fit.
