I'm not into this genre of music, but I can fully appreciate an awesome live performance.
Exactly how I was feeling, and I was totally blown away. I hope I convinced Nate last night how amazing yesterday evening was for both us! The aural and visual experience was overwhelming, the amount of energy expended on stage by Converge was unbelievable, I just grinned the whole way through
And then Nate and Jake taking time out immediately after their set and just before they were off to Paris for next gig to come chat with us was so great, such lovely, down-to-earth guys.
Honestly, can’t find the words to say how much fun we had. Huge thanks to the awesome Nate (and Jake and Kurt and Ben)

Wow!! You guys are amazing. Hanging out with Paula and Giles last night was a highlight of the tour for us!! We had a blast and I hope this is only the first of many. The Padmores were brave btw. They were up front for the whole set.
These pictures are great!!! Paula and Giles…. It was a pleasure to meet you. Thanks so much for coming out and braving the weird.

So we added a couple of days onto the Nate meet-ip to extend into what Paula is referring to as a mini-break. We are staying here, which is fantastic, though when we got back at 11PM last night the bar was shut…..
Today we went to the beach…
And then found a place for lunch…

It is a suet steak and kidney pudding…..Classic Brit heart attack fayre.....
Another “classic” english dish is a sweet version of a steamed suet pudding, with dried fruit (currants), called “Spotted Dick”
Fortunately for Giles’s arteries he didn’t eat this as well
