Flat out awesome!!

I suspected it was going to be crazy fun for all involved; glad to hear that everyone had an awesome night.

So we added a couple of days onto the Nate meet-ip to extend into what Paula is referring to as a mini-break. We are staying here, which is fantastic, though when we got back at 11PM last night the bar was shut…..
Today we went to the beach…
And then found a place for lunch…
My sort of beer pull…
And a pint and a pie - perfection…
-
What is that next to the peas and fries? Meat pie covered in gravy?
-
Classic English pub grub
-
It is a suet steak and kidney pudding…..Classic Brit heart attack fayre.....
Another “classic” english dish is a sweet version of a steamed suet pudding, with dried fruit (currants), called “Spotted Dick”
Fortunately for Giles’s arteries he didn’t eat this as well

If its got meat in it I'd probably like it. Not sure about kidneys though.
-
Urb, they do a version that comes in a can, great as a snack. I'm going to throw a couple in the case for you check out in October

I had a couple myself while I was over there in May. So good! Really craving one right now actually…

That would be amazing.

Ok, I'll throw many of them in the case

What's the name and location of this palatial hotel please? Looks like the site of a classic Brit crime movie, Agatha Christie meets P D James kind of stuff. I'm in awe.
If I win the lottery, I want to stay there a night or two…..

Very close to our end of the Channel Tunnel - in fact due to some useless navigation assistance from my wife yesterday, we almost ended up in feckin France. Cue, Giles on intercom at toll gate asking how we **don'**t go to France with queue of cars getting irritated behind him….
