IHSH-438-IND - 7.5oz Selvedge Corduroy Western Shirt - Indigo

@Giles the cost of running business is always unique and IH remains extremely reasonable. That is one of the reasons that I chimed in. There is always a justifiable reason even if it’s complicated. Appreciate everything you do and are sir. Onward and upward

Just received mine and the fit is perfect. Really loving this shirt. It's the right balance of a relaxed fit but still looks slim and not boxy. The pearl snaps I upgraded to look awesome on this shirt as well.

@Nobunaga what size did you get compared to your usual western size? And how does the fabric feel?
-
I told myself I’m not gonna buy this one, will somebody talk me out of it or into it please?
-

I am not the person you asked, but I just ordered my usual size. I will let you know how it fits if you are interested.

Ya'll nailed the fit on this shirt. Best fitting shirt I've had. Got my normal western size.
-
@FlavourFade I went with my normal IH size (medium). I would not recommend sizing down for a couple of reasons. Despite the measurements looking on the larger end, the shirt doesn't really fit that much larger. Also, I noticed that the shirt fits a little tighter in the armpits. I compared the arm hole measurement with a couple of other medium IH westerns that I own (and some workshirts) and the armpit measurement on this is slightly smaller. I noticed it when trying it on but it wasn't anything that bothered me and I am really sensitive about shirts and jackets that fit tight in the armpits. In addition, the sleeve width is a little smaller as well. I have skinny arms so it isn't an issue for me but if you are more built in the arms I'd definitely ask for armpit and sleeve width measurements just to make sure.
As for the fabric it is a little crunchy as to be expected from new corduroy. I noticed the arm stacks are already starting to set just from wearing it a little as a result. I think this is going to fade beautifully. The fabric is light weight but it still feels substantial.

@hugothecowboy @roydub87 Hey guys, the sizes are not off at all. I have so many IH tops, and imo, for me, this is one of the best fitting shirts I have. I went with my regular IH shirt size. First time I don’t have to fold the cuffs haha, and I don’t mind folding my cuffs. This shirt fits just perfectly, and the weight and the quality of corduroy, well, it’s IH. As far as the price, yes, steeper than before, but as @Giles explained, I figured it would be a concoction of few factors. For me it’s worth it. This shirt is special, and being seasonal, I would jump on it. If it’s made in khaki also one day, I'm all over it!

-
@Alex get it Alex, it’s really an amazing shirt!
-
@northsouthdenimguy If you buy one, I’m going to tell you that you are wearing it wrong…
If you don’t, then I’m going to give you shit for missing out…
Your call, but you’ve been here long enough that you know what to do.
…and please post pictures when you do buy it. Bet it will look good on you

@northsouthdenimguy I just don’t understand the appeal of corduroy. Unless it’s a wonderful detail like on my 144
. Also, what @goosehd said -
