17mm are no longer available. 14mm for heavy duty snaps and 11mm for lightweight snaps

May I ask … why the 14mm snap won’t work?

The issue is that this shirt has lightweight snaps and the 14mm ones are Heavy duty so the existing hardware will not match up.
