I think it's actually the lower rise that give you the wedgie. With a higher rise, wearing it on your hips causes the butt to sit lower and you get a baggier ass. With a lower rise you would tend to pull them up to meet your waist thus drawing the denim right into your hiney hole. There's your wedgie. Go with the 666od TTS. You'll be digging those bitches out of your butt for a month.

Thats what i was asking what would cause it …thanks Matt U Da Bomb

My diesel Safados have this effect..I will measure them when i get a chance to see where the differences are
-
disagree. can't put it down to one measurement. low rise jeans can have baggy ass too especially if worn low on the hips. matter fact the 301 is a good example of this
fully agree with Jaco and from what I have read in various posts from 301 owners and their experience with stretching of topblock/waist.
I am also interested in this cut a long time but will await 555 first, before I will "risk" it.

I've only just caught up on the preceding "denim wedgie" discussion. Awesome stuff, guys!
Still laughing at the idea of strolling into SE and asking for jeans with a denim wedgie…
Seriously though, I agree with those who are saying you can't associate it more with a high-rise or low-rise, or whatever. It's more down to the individual cut (and the shape of the wearer's butt).

Lol It was the best way to describe what I meant ..But it became thong jeans in the end lol
