So it’s finally dry. I was a bit unsure about putting it on a 40 degree wash (as per the label), or even a normal 30 degree wash (as per the website) because of the 60% wool in the lining.
So I tentatively put it on a wool wash (30 degrees), with some spin, then dried it on the radiator, turning it often. In hindsight, it probably could have gone on a normal cycle, because there was still some dust which I brushed off once dry.
I’ll try and get some post wash photos in sunlight later, although I think it’s more interesting when covered in dust sometimes. Anyway, there is something happening, especially on the arms.

@Mister_Brue FWIW I have washed my blanket lined 534 twice on a normal setting and it was totally OK after. I even did a hot soak and warm wash the first time because the facking thing smelled of mildew from being in storage for years by the previous owner...wash cleared it right up though.

I finally got some photographs in decent weather.
Overall, the fading is nothing to write home about, but looking closely, for about 20 days wear, the loss of indigo is incredible in high friction areas (arms, pockets, hems).
I can see this being hung up over the summer, and I’ll be glad to do so, because I’m already through the denim on part of the hem and one of the arm creases.
The blanket lining is helping to produce fades that are soft and ocean-like. It’s beautiful, I love it already, and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

@Mister_Brue I think the fading is fantastic! It's not high contrast but that's kinda to be expected with 10oz? I think the more vintage fades will look sick as hell and it's rare to see them in Iron Heart gear. I expect this thing to be bone white by the time you're done with it. I'm stoked to watch this baby evolve

Looks like I’m not even wearing mine compared to you all. That being said it’s one of the most underappreciated pieces. IMO it’s so good.
