I really want to like this, but it looks too baggy and unrefined in the pictures on the model. Does anyone else feel the same way?

@dlrarmy I would argue the shoulders, body and sleeve look spot on in terms of sizing. Chore jackets are boxier/roomier by design given what they were originally intended for. Which parts are you concerned about?

@dlrarmy It's probably also worth bearing in mind that all of our images are of a new/barely worn jacket. This 20oz canvas is so rigid at first that the jacket looks stiffer and boxier than it will do after it's been broken in. Over time, the fabric will gradually soften for a more natural drape and mold to the wearer's body shape — but as AJ mentioned, the cut is still designed to be a slightly oversized for layering.

@Freeman has been wearing one of the sample jackets for around 6 months now, and the fabric is much softer and looks great. Planning on getting some pics later today, which I'll post in the IHJ-150-BLK thread.

Comparing the measurements from my shooting jacket, the size L 150 is even larger than the XL shooting jacket. I don't think I have anything IH in size large. But as the forum feinds frequently advise, I will trust the size charts.

@Oaktavia I tried one on earlier, this is me wearing a large. I can get away with a medium, but the large didn't strike me as overly big compared to other jackets — hope that doesn't throw a spanner in the works for you!

This size would probably be my go-to for layering...
