A collaboration between Iron Heart and Simmons Bilt, the Tail Gunner combines classic biker styling with a sleek, tapered silhouette suitable for everyday wear. Handmade in Scotland, this jacket is constructed from 1.2mm Mustang horsehide, creating a heavyweight and exceptionally durable piece. Other features include a 100% cotton lining from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, robust brass hardware, handwarmer pockets, and an internal 'gun' pocket – all ensuring practicality that compliments the vintage aesthetic.

Gah this is fantastic. Is there a rough idea of when it'll be releasing? I highly doubt I'll have the money, but I'm happy to see that this leather exists as a sort of alternative to the original Bareback's (although it appears to start a bit darker, which tbh I'm not mad about at all).

@popvulture not quite sure yet, sorry. There is no movement on this generally, I've posted pics of the sample a handful of times, including yesterday, when i realised that we forgot to make this product back then. So it's not that its imminent, rather that we just fucked up

Is the eta on this, in line with the big buck? I'm not complaining just wondering.. this jacket with stitched pockets, beautiful liner and many other bits and bobs is $50 less than big buck. Leaves me with the cost of the leather for big buck being the difference? Again just a morbid curiosity about the things that want my money.

Will this age/darken closer to natural veg-tanned horsehide leather, or will it pretty much continue look how it is out of the box? Thanks!

It will age, yeah. It's already got some good colour, so won't be as fast as natural veg tan, but i still expect some patina for sure
