Trying a few new pencils. Uni Kurotoga Advance and a Kurutoga Dive. Really good so far. Will have to see how they hold up with all the complications.

bumping this thread since it's been a minute! I've been using my rOtring 800 pencil as a daily driver everyday and loving it. I have a Montblanc Meisterstück pen that I love, but might replace it (gasp!) with a rOtring 600 pen since I love the size and feel of the 800 so much. That and I regularly bust them out on a daily basis at my new job, and I really would prefer the satisfaction of a click over having to twist.

Also, I use a small notepad to jot down notes all day everyday at work. I have ones that I love, but they are either too big or too small. Anyone have a recommendations for something that is about 4"x6" or 5"x7"?

My usual notebooks are either this or this which are too small. Or this which is slightly too large.

@chrisjohnnick I use the same MB as my biro, and a 149 is my daily used fountain pen.

I recently impulse-bought an “infinity pencil” with a metal tip that supposedly lasts a lot longer than a regular graphite pencil. I like th one I have, but the cap unscrews. I’d really like to find a heavy duty retractable one, or barring that a thicker body with an exposed tip, no cap. Who’s got such a thing or knows where to get it? Here’s the one I have:

@sabergirl I recently got my daughter an Otho Mechanical Pencil, the 2.0 version - would that be something that could fit your needs?

Those look cool, @tody. But what I really want is the tungsten tip in place of regular lead. A so-called “infinity pencil”. I like the one I have, but I’m obsessed with clicky-pens or pencils, because caps are fumbly.

Yes, but that’s very similar to what I already have. I can’t seem to find a retractable option. Oh well.
