Drawing some inspiration from the 189(UnTucked), and the 194(military cpo), I have a suggestion for a workshirt…

All cotton duck canvas...black, brown, or indigo...copper stitching
Copper snaps, like the 189.
Straight across chest pocket flaps with pen slot, like the 194.
Non-CPO

Whether working, or tinkering around at home, I prefer duck for the rough stuff. When I'm tasked with a significant amount of welding, I will usually don a heavy canvas jacket. But, when I simply have to run a rod or two, or torch cut a pipe, gearing up can slow you down. Something like this would alleviate that. The pocket flaps, and lack of side pockets would help eliminate weld BBs and slag from getting trapped. Not to mention, all the other junk that winds up dropping in my pockets, while working.

a military field hat, pre WWII… basically it have the pattern used for the IHG-078, what if you would be death accurate does not use the traditional bucket hat pattern....

I know this thread is for what we think should be made but ive always wondered why Khaki and Green in western and workshirts are not an extant item? as far as fabric is concerned theres several options that I can think of. Do these colors just not sell very well?

Good question, I don't know the answer.  Perhaps I'll find a fabric, do a run and see how they do…..

Assuming we are talking about a solid color for both, I would definitely pick them up.

I’ve always been interested in the 56 Westpoint Western…I’d love to see something along those lines with heavy duty snaps. Don’t get me wrong, I love patterns, but a good solid color shirt is much appreciated too...

Another run of IHSH-56 in Green and Khaki! To me thats an Extant item all day long, but I suppose it boils down to what sells as well as what is available in fabric.

I'm a long time listener, first time caller and would like to throw my two pennies in…

For FW18 I would like a traditional 'Union suit' in red or indigo thick knitted waffle material - ideally both.

Ideally with the traditional two oversized button flap at the back.

This will negate the need for me to dress during the winter holiday period before I start drinking....
