      @Broark:

Not sure if it's ever been considered, or if it's possible, but I'd love an IH version of the Brown's Beach shawl collar cardigan.
Fullcount is going to be making their offerings in up to 44 next fall (or so I've heard) but I'm not sure if that will be big enough.
I'm certain that IH would make one that would fit.

I was talking to one of the guys that runs the Knifolk store in Williamsburg the other day. They sell all the Fullcount Brown's Beach jackets. The largest size is tiny. I asked him about larger sizes and he said Fullcount was not interested in making larger sizes. Who knows. They do have an MA-1 jacket in Navy Beach Cloth that is so nice. I almost bought it. The material is one of the most unique fabrics I have ever seen. Ridiculously warm. And the XL fit me.

After reading the (awesome) wake up and coffee thread I'm thinking maybe IH could team up with Fire-King (http://fireking-japan.com/) and make some IH branded milk glass mugs…

Thanks for the tip Shane and that is a nice looking jacket.
Thing is I love the oxford grey/brown color of the Fullcount produced jackets. And particularly the style of the shawl collar cardigan.
I've read that they're going up to 44 starting in the fall of next year, but I haven't confirmed that anywhere yet. But I'm sure that might still be too small.

I'd be all over some Fire King IH mugs.

In keeping with the above talk of beach cloth, please make a coat from the beach cloth fabric Haraki recently made the vest out of.  Ideally, a pea coat, but other ideas could be cool. Maybe something along these lines:

Though I find the chest pocket on these and similar repros to look a little strange.  I'm sure Haraki-san could tweak it beautifully.

Id love to see a superblack or 21oz or even 18oz take on something like this.

I like round necks on vests and I've been really wanting a hard wearing vest that's a little longer in length.  I have a sierra
Designs heritage 60/40 vest that has the perfect shape, I just wish it was a bit longer and  Made out of stubborn denim!

Can't be done.  We made a sample 21oz shirt a few years ago.  Everyone got very excited, then we took it into production and it just could not be made.

As a general principle, the best sewers in a workshop do the sampling, so sometimes they can do things that actually can't be done in bulk….

I would like to see a revival of the IH-6526J, or a new version with pockets. And a restock on the chino pants.

The IH-6526J will not happen again.  It sold slowly, and indeed we had to put them on special to move them.  A version with pockets is a great idea, but the minimum on this haraki designed double weave cord is probably too much for us to do again.  Once bitten etc etc…

If you mean the poly-cotton Chinos - ditto...

                                Sorry

I guess you don't move a lot of 40+ waist jeans. I had to turn to Japan to find the 666-xhs in a 40. Still a bit too small. Is the demand not there for sizes over 40?

Yeah, but unfortunately when a straight cut jean is sized that high, and my foot isn't an enormous size, it fits like a boot cut jean. I think I'm going to give the 1955 a try soon though.
