I suspect they have seen the FW preview that Japan does, and have made a listing of products that they plan to buy. I suspect these eBay Japan sellers are a mix of Japanese wholesalers frustrated they are not allowed to sell overseas trying to circumvent the rules, and also individuals that live near shops who list the entire stock of a shop, then go in and buy each time they make an eBay sale

Corporations touch everything on the planet. Thinking that governments are in “control” is naive. We’re beholden to them and going off grid just isn’t a feasible option for most. As @kasi will most assuredly tell you… it’s all about the Benjamin's.

Nah it not. No value with the Benjamin.

@Alex that sucks. Guessing there’s really nothing that can be done. I guess bright side is it means consumer demand is strong for your products.

You can’t stop someone going into a brick and mortar shop buying something and then selling it be it online or face to face, the grey market as they call it is huge in some industries.

I have a load of thoughts about the whole online vs instore vs online only vs regional

This is a bit of a Friday afternoon post and definitely random. LinkedIn is not known for being a barrel of laughs but my feed alerted me to UK trade mark no UK00004444579 (see below). The comments were exceptional (but I’m sure you can do better). Over to you …

Random question for @motojobobo : Just read on the news that Bolivia is affected extremely bad by El Niño this year and the government is declaring a state of emergency. How bad is it in your area?

                        Hey @tody! Thanks for asking.
Not bad really…I suspect the announcement was motivated largely for political reasons. Not yet seeing extraordinary El Niño impacts this year.
But let’s see further down. I have many friends and family strongly involved with agro and livestock activity and no reports of unusually adverse situations yet,

                        The journey is the objective.

@goosehd not easy to give a clear and general answer here.
Most of the meteo models for S. America are clear on their forecast for central Amazonia, the western Andes and southern S. America (Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay). That leaves most of lowland Bolivia in a transitional/borderline area with vague forecasts. In my ranch area the last two El Niño events have shown up with “slightly higher than historical rainfall”; so nothing noteworthy. However for Bolivia’s highland in the Andes they have been quite dry and damaging years.
Not sure about the why for the vague forecasts; possibly due to poor quality and sparse weather station data in Bolivia?

                            The journey is the objective.
