For those near the rocks

@Matt - Wow would like to see JS again! and he pulled a nice move with rhythm section from The Bobby Lees
-
Dream Syndicate this evening. So special to see them!

-
Andy Frasco and the U.N. put on an amazing show! Big recommendation if they come around to your neck of the woods.

we hosted the artist Zoe Basha at our brewery last night. she's french/american but has been Dublin based for the past 10 years with the rest of her band also from ireland. she's a mix of celtic and americana with gorgeous harmonies. they covered hank williams, patsy cline and some billie. rolling to the PNW next on their tour...catch them if you can. sorry no photos.

After the week so far, I could easily have laid down in a dark room with some death metal at volume 11, but had tickets to see Beth Orton at my local independent venue. Came out in a much better mood than the one I went in with!

A cut-back, folk-based set. She played piano (keyboard) and guitar. Her husband does the support act and then plays guitar, banjo and violin for the main set. Superb musicality and wholesome interactions between themselves and the crowd.
-
@Nocturama I see no reason why you can't blast some death metal anyway
-
@Tago-Mago - based on my work calendar for this afternoon, I can foresee that happening sooner rather than later.

-
Saw Tinsley Ellis last night. He's an amazing guitar player and vocalist.
-

Great bill! Hope the 'Hawk comes to London

more importantly, Rush have announced our dates in Europe for 2027
Anika is worth the price of the ticket alone. I was lucky to see her with Beck for one of his last shows and again at Clapton's tribute for Beck. Anika's the real frickin' deal.
