I love how it looks a little purple in some places. I think the indigo will develop some lovely character on this piece

@Oaktavia should consider a job change to full time fader .. I imagine you running around in the woods while wearing 3 shirts on top of each other. Occasionally swapping them around and jumping into random rivers for natural soaks.

I had this idea too and plan to do this soon. They are all different in their own ways.

@RoxRocks86 here are some photos from early this morning comparing four different weights of indigo/black denim.

We have the:

14ozib Western
19ozib CPO
21ozib 777
25ozib 888

All of which have different tones of indigo and black. Different textures and feel to the touch. Different weaves and breathability, yet they all have similarities. From my eyes, the 19oz looks more warm toned with hints of violet and is less dark when brand new compared to the others.

I haven’t drooled over indigo in a while. This made me Yeah. I’m gonna have to make some room in my closet for this one

Glad y'all liked the photos, it was fun laying them all out. My plan as of now is to heavily wear both the 396 and 888XHSib this fall/winter. I'm super stoked to see how each of them evolve in their own ways. Still plan to wear the 16oz SBG western here and there when I can as well.

@Daniel-San how have you been enjoying your 21ozib pair? In heavy rotation or is there a different pair you favor?

@WhiskeySandwich they are tough to fade, have you any XHSib? If not, I highly recommend them and personally prefer that denim over 21ozib.

@Oaktavia ya know, I’ve played with the idea of getting some XHS, and if I did, I think ib would be the one. The main thing that’s stopped me is worries about wearability and versatility. My next pair of jeans is def the 21od, but I’ll reevaluate and consider it next time the xhsib comes around.

Hell yeah, I’m excited to see this. Nobody fades IH tops like @Oaktavia.

I’ll probably end up going with the 16 oz SBG CPO, but I still have serious academic interest in the evo of this fabric.

Wear mine in rotation with UHR and 666-21L at the moment, depending on temperatures . Guess around 40 wears at the moment, fades slowly starting but nothing spectacular at this point.
